Our story

Every great recipe
begins with a story

Mesame Bakery was born from a grandmother's kitchen, a clay oven, and the stubborn belief that good bread is worth waiting for.

Our beginnings

One oven, one recipe, one neighbourhood

It started with puff-puff. A grandmother's recipe, a borrowed oven, and a queue of neighbours who could smell the morning before they could see it. What began as a weekend ritual became a bakery — and a promise to never let the fire go cold.

Our craft

Four things we refuse to rush

Fired by wood

Our clay oven is lit before dawn. The smoke is the first thing the neighbourhood smells each morning.

Milled by hand

Spices are ground fresh in a mortar. Nothing pre-mixed, nothing rushed — flavour takes the time it takes.

Made with patience

Doughs proof overnight. We fry to order, never ahead. The wait is the recipe.

Finished by hand

Every cake is sculpted and iced one at a time. No two are quite alike — and that is the point.

“We do not bake to fill a shelf. We bake to fill a morning.”

Our promise
